FIRE FAIR
This year was our 20th annual Mission Fire Fair Fundraiser which was held on July 18th. It was a beautiful day for this event, the sun was out, the rain held back, and there was a slight breeze. There were BBQ Pork sandwiches, brats, hotdogs, popcorn, soda, and treats to choose from for food. Firefighters were getting dunked in our dunktank, people were bidding on items in our silent and chinese auctions. Kids were standing in line for the kids games and bounce-house. Kids also learned to escape a burning building in the Cuyuna Range Fire Chief's Association's Safe Escape House. People of all ages were jammin to Ozzy Osbourns "Crazy Train" during our "Guitar Hero" Tournament and don't forget about the Chicken Poopin' Contest! Overall it was a good year and funds were raised to benefit the Mission Township Firefighters Relief Association to purchase needed equipment to better serve our community.
